Compassionate euthanasia has been a passion of owner Susan Rodgers since she started practicing. She has always worked with her clients to make the hardest day of pet ownership a peaceful and calm one. After living in the Dade City area for a few years she started to realize that many of her friends and clients were prevented from at-home euthanasia because of where they live.

Susan grew up in South Florida with a house full of dogs from Foxy the Pembroke welsh corgi that introduced her to Agility after education in obedience, and Dillion that took her to the conformation ring. She went to school at Stetson University, the University of Florida, and Mississippi State. Graduating from the Mississippi State college of veterinary medicine in 2014. After graduating, she spent about a year in Mississippi before coming back home to the sunshine state in Lakeland. She shares her home with her husband and several dogs ranging from Lelawala the Boston Terrier to Turtle the Ibizan Hound. She also shares her home with 3 cats and 6 chickens. In her free time, she enjoys showing her homebred Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers in conformation, and training the pack in Nose work, dock diving, and agility. Together, she and her husband spend most weekends either at one of Florida’s beautiful springs in kayaks or at the hockey arena either cheering on the Lightning or his team.
